Playgroup

We offer playgroup sessions for children from the age of two and a half until they qualify for nursery funding in the term after their third birthday.


Starting playgroup is a big step for both parents and children, and it is a good way to introduce your child to the concept of playing with other children in a structured setting. We take care to ensure that your child settles into the routine by starting with a visit to see what is on offer and meet the staff. We can then discuss the needs of your child to ensure a smooth transition to the group.​


Costs

The playgroup costs £15 per session from August 2023.The price includes a healthy snack. Children will be assigned two regular days per week, billed in advance, and can attend until they qualify for their funding (the term following their third birthday).

Funding

As part of our partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council, some children who qualify as “Terrific Twos” may be able to claim funding for their place, and staff will be able to advise if your child may be eligible.


Times

Sessions run from 09:00 to 11:30.

Monday to Thursday, term time only.
